Hi, I’m Yani.
The founder of SHE Rebuilds. I’m not a guru. I’m literally just a girl who is rebuilding in real time. Instead of being ashamed about what I’ve experienced, I decided I needed to turn my mess into a map for the woman standing beside me.
Where I started
I spent most of my 20s chasing the appearance of wealth: designer bags, expensive makeup, jewelry, you name it. Behind that mindset, my credit was suffering and so was my mental health. In August 2025, my car was repo’d right before I had to go to work. I felt defeated and convinced that this was just my life. I almost did nothing…
After I stopped feeling sorry for myself, I decided it was time for me to do something different. I actually LOOKED at my credit report. One letter and one dispute at a time, I rebuilt my score from a 505 to a 640. The version of me today cares a lot more about my credit and my family’s financial future than about how things look on the outside. I still love a good designer piece though, but now, it gets paid for in full and it’s not for performing.
